At Carol’s 60th birthday she was treated to a presentation highlighting some of the special events of her life . It was patterned after a popular radio and later television show entitled “This Is Your Life’. Originating on the radio in 1948 and later as a television show during the 50’s and 60’s. It was a popular must see weekly event across America.

The man who created and hosted the show was named Ralph Edwards. His simple premise was to honor both the famous and unknown through remembrances of family and friends. It was an early pioneer of all TV reality shows.

For our event a 6 ft. x 6 ft. giant screen was erected in the living room and along with a borrowed video projector and a laptop computer we all viewed pictures of Carol’s past as our Ralph Edwards, Dick Miller, read this prepared text..
